The Austin Symphony Orchestra will present a new style of performance, one that brings classical and electronic dance music together. Bach N’ Beats is a one-night-only mash-up concert where a string quartet (two violins, viola and cello) made up of ASO musicians will perform a classical work and then one of the four DJs will do a mash-up including a variety of musical elements.
The four featured DJs are Chicken George, LouLou, Curse Mackey and Shree H. Tripathi; they will each be mixing their own style and flavor for the crowd based on the string quartet’s pieces.
