Austin Symphony presents Masterworks VII: The Big Four

This spring themed concert features pieces from four titans of composition. The evening will begin with Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons: Spring featuring Ilya Gringolts performing on a 1742 Guarneri violin followed by Sibelius’s Spring Song. To conclude the first half of the program the ASO will invite Gringolts back to the stage to perform Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3. After intermission, the spring-themed concert will be capped off with a performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, Pastorale.
