The first major event for The Care Communities' 25th year is Derby Day 2016. Not only is it the perfect time to enjoy southern hors d'oeuvres and sip on a Mint Julep while viewing the Kentucky Derby, but it is also perfect to enjoy some yard games with old friends under the Texas sun.

An old-school silent auction and a silent auction with-a-twist will be open, as well as a raffle for a trip to Disneyland and a custom-made superhero costume for a special child. Additionally, no Kentucky Derby event would be complete without a derby hat contest for the Most Glamorous and Most Outrageous.

Funds raised will go towards providing domestic and emotional support services to those living with cancer or HIV in the greater Central Texas area.
