The People’s Market honors inclusivity and diversity as Austin’s first and only intersectional BIPOC, Queer, Latinx, and local creatives-centered mercado, featuring over 40 vendors. It includes an interactive intergenerational art wall, where the community is invited to bring artwork and express their thoughts and hopes for the future of Women’s Equality, on the wall.
Invited speakers, including Natasha Harper-Madison, Celia Israel, and Daniela Silva, will share thoughts on the importance of women’s equality in politics and male dominated industries.
DJ sets will come from leading Austin DJs: DJ Helios and Kay Cali. There will also be performance from the women-led international dance group Folklore y Ritmos de Panamá.
