The Battleship Texas Foundation and Friends and Allies Brewing Company have joined forces to raise awareness about the nation’s last surviving dreadnought, Battleship Texas. The partners will host a community event in efforts to secure petition signatures and save the historic ship. Friends and Allies will be offering a $3 pint for attendees that sign the petition.
On the scene will be a large ice sculpture of the Battleship Texas, a battleship-sized petition, and life-sized battleship game. The event will be touring throughout the Lone Star State; it started in Houston and is now traveling to Austin, San Antonio and Dallas.
