In the spring of 2008, just around the corner from the Bass plaza, in the then newly minted Butler School of Music, the earliest ideas of line upon line were hatched. Making new things with composers was their favorite thing to do then, and remains their favorite thing to do now.
The current state of the world has somehow only solidified that, for them, making new things is intangibly, sometimes illogically, important. This show is two brand new things, commissioned, workshopped and written over the last couple of months, and one thing that is slightly less new, but still new to U.S. audiences.
This concert will take place at Bass Concert Hall Plaza.
