Lydia Street Gallery presents "Lawrence McFarland: From Dodge City to Shiprock." McFarland's photographs function as a metaphoric poem. They define not only his photographic journey but in a larger sense his life. McFarland's life’s journey is about remembering where he came from, the people he traveled with, and what he has learned and experienced. It is about how he has reacted to crisis and how he honors beauty. It is about how he treats the weak and helpless. This journey is about who he has become through photography.
The exhibition will remain on display through June 18. There will be an artist talk & reception on May 27.
