March of Dimes will host the 3rd annual Run for Babies 5K, which will take place directly before the Austin March for Babies Walk. The run begins at 7:30 am and is a chip timed race for all types of runners.
Each runner received a Run for Babies T-shirt and a chip timer. There is also a team challenge for teams with over 10 runners. The five lowest times from each team are averaged together and the team with the lowest time wins the Team Challenge Trophy.
There will be family friendly activities such as playscapes, moon bounces, petting zoo, face painters, and games. There will also be food trucks and treats throughout the day
