Powered by Statesman Capitol 10,000 presents Run Leap Year's 366th Day
The Leap Year Run is a creative 3 to 6-mile route that travels past Butler Park before crossing over Lady Bird Lake on the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge. Connecting to the hike and bike trail the route travels over to the Shoal Creek tributary where the new Austin Central Public Library can be viewed nestled along the beautifully landscaped banks of the creek. This urban route is a combination of sidewalk and pedestrian paths that winds along Shoal Creek through the center of downtown all the way up to Pease Park. Enjoy fresh Wholy Bagels, hot Ruta Maya Coffee or hot chocolate and other snacks when finished.
