For the first time, East Austin butcher shop salumeria and restaurant Salt & Time opens for a Sunday night dinner service with the launch of a new series, Sunday Smokehouse. The first four-week iteration is led by lauded local pitmaster and chef, Evan LeRoy, formerly of Freedmen’s and NYC’s Hill Country BBQ.
Plates include an option of two or three meats: Cajun Spiced Smoked Snapper, Smoked Oysters w/ Bacon, Shrimp Sausage. Two sides will include Russian Potato Salad and Ginger Slaw w/ Bonito; as well as Cucumber Kimchi Pickles and Sea Salt Focaccia.
