The Black Excellence Tribute is a live event co-founded by Aaron Ross and Sanya Richards-Ross with the express purpose of celebrating the achievements of local, national and international people of color. The event features dynamic storytelling using music, poetry, digital short stories, and impactful speaking. The event is designed to entertain, educate, empower and encourage those in and outside of the Austin community to celebrate the best in their fellow man.

The proceeds of the event benefit The Gold Standard Foundation, a non-profit organization which seeks to continue its mission to educate, empower and enable at risk youth to excel in academics and athletics.
