The Shock Cinema Series will present two terrifying films by Austin creators for a great cause.
Sinister, written by Austin’s C. Robert Cargill, is a terrifying entry in the horror genre. The evening will include a special Blumhouse Presents pre-show reel, horror trivia with prizes from Trick or Treat Studios, and a Q&A with Cargill, moderated by filmmakers Alex Chew and Carrie Cates.
Tickets are a suggested donation of $15 per guest for 1 or 2 people in a single vehicle, $40 for 3 passengers, and $50 for 4 or more passengers, and 80 percent of any profit from tickets go directly to six featured nonprofit programs as a suggested donation.
Each ticket includes popcorn, candy, a soda, voucher for one beer from Independence Brewing Company and a can of CLEAN Cause Yerba Mate! (each guest must present ID proving they're over 21 years of age to redeem the Independence Brewing Company voucher; drink vouchers must be redeemed on-site the night of event).
