Dance Repertory Theatre will present a celebration of the influence of African American culture upon contemporary dance in the 21st century. Momentum features nationally renowned artists, including hip-hop choreographer Dr. Lorenzo “Rennie” Harris; vanguard emerging choreographer Abby Zbikowski; Adrienne Hurd, former dancer with the Judith Jamison Project; as well as one of the ensemble’s first tap performances, choreographed by co-artistic director Jeremy Arnold.
- Performances on February 15-19 include choreography that addresses sexuality and/or erotic dance and contains nudity. It is recommended for mature audiences.
- Performances on February 22-26 are recommended for guests 12 years old and greater.
