Lost in the hoopla of SXSW's hottest rumor or biggest act are some of Austin’s most magical and talented bands. They often grind their way day-in, day-out, playing as many shows as possible. Although it would take a football-sized team to capture all of our hometown gems, CultureMap was able to photograph a few bands doing what they do best for the people who appreciate them the most: the locals.
