Formed in 2010, the Austin Gay and Lesbian Pride Foundation (AGLPF) is a 100-percent volunteer-run organization dedicated to managing and organizing Austin's annual PRIDE Celebration and Stonewall Rally, with a mission to educate, provide resources for, and connect the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community in Austin.

Volunteers make a direct impact on the ability of the AGLPF to give back to the community by helping maintain a safe, exciting, and economically viable PRIDE celebration. Plus, PRIDE volunteers are all granted free festival entry. For more information and to sign up, head here.

Austin's Annual PRIDE celebration, which includes a lively parade and festival, is one of the largest opportunities for local nonprofit organizations, social groups, and causes to gain exposure in the LGBTQ community. Each year, dozens of these groups use the festival as a platform to inform and interact with the thousands of attendees. Countless people find new organizations to join, causes to support, and opportunities to volunteer at PRIDE events. Furthermore, the Austin PRIDE Festival is Central Texas' single largest HIV testing day of the year, enabling several local HIV-related service organizations to reach populations they may otherwise not reach.
