The Austin Blues Society seeks to represent the past, present and future of blues music through education, commemoration and preservation of the rich musical history prominent in Austin and throughout Texas. The Austin Blues Society serves the community as "Ambassadors of the Blues" and strive to share their love for the culture through community events and festivals, hosted jams and concert programming, "Blues in the Schools" programs, cultural enrichment, and through the support of other organizations with the same or similar mission.
