Austin Civic Orchestra presents Détente

The Austin Civic Orchestra's Détente will feature an American and Russian program. Beginning the convecrt will be the music of Aaron Copland and Howard Hanson, followed by a performance of perform the third movement form Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto by guest artist Jessica Mathaes, concertmaster of the Austin Symphony. Borodin's Polovetsian Dances will serve as the program finale.

You're invited to join music director Dr. Lois Ferrari and assistant conductor Dr. Gus Sterneman for a pre-concert talk at 6:30 pm.
