Franco Nero stars as a Polish mercenary in the old west who first sells his services to a mining company and then to the army of peasants who claim the mine for themselves. Jack Palance enters the picture as the wild card, a flamboyantly gay, sadistic assassin on the trail of the Mexican revolutionary leader Tony Musante and the silver from the mine.
