Austin Parks Foundation will host its annual city-wide volunteer event, It’s My Park Day, an event that will bring together Austinites to help improve and transform more than 75 different parks, trails, and greenbelts throughout the city by way of mulching, planting, and park clean ups, as well as some specialty projects.

Such projects this year include the groundbreaking of North Oaks Garden, flag placement for veteran's day at Austin Memorial Cemetery, Craft Day & Public Art visioning at Georgian Acres and support of the Pillars Project at Rosewood Park. Following public health guidance, Austin Parks Foundation is requiring masks for all volunteers and capping in-person projects at 25 volunteers.
