Liquid Land is a documentary about an art project by Swiss musician Simon Berz in New Orleans, which involved some of the most interesting and more experimental musicians from New Orleans like Helen Gillet, Rob Cambre, Aurora Nealand, Jeff Albert and James Singleton, focusing on their experiences as improvisers in New Orleans.

The film's Austin premiere will take place with an opening set by Peter Stopschinski, and following the film will be a live experimental music performance by an ensemble of touring musicians.

This is a rare collaboration between Church of the Friendly Ghost and Up Collective which will feature film as well as music bringing local and foreign artists together.
