Conspirare presents Autumn Song

Autumn Song, Conspirare's 2016-17 season opener, features David Lang's Pulitzer Prize-winning quartet version of "The Little Match Girl Passion." Modeled after Bach’s "Saint Matthew Passion," Lang's modern, minimalist, masterwork will be of special interest to fans of Arvo Pärt. Complementing this longer piece will be a collection of gorgeous songs from Handel to Sondheim.

Craig Hella Johnson leads four of Conspirare's beloved soloists whose breathtaking artistry mesmerize and inspire with every note: Stefanie Moore, Kathlene Ritch, Dann Coakwell and Cameron Beauchamp. This special Conspirare quartet program offers a rare opportunity to hear the breathtaking artistry of singers with national and international performance careers. With percussionist Thomas Burritt.
