Inherit Austin’s 9th Annual Somewhere In Time is headed to South Austin’s St. Elmo district. Explore this dynamic and unique slice of Austin history that includes midcentury warehouses, still-active industrial uses, historic roadside motels, and new construction.

Speaker Caroline Wallace, deputy director of the Texas Craft Brewers Guild and co-founder of craft beer blog Bitch Beer, will tell the storied history of brewing in Austin and Texas. Guests will tour Still Austin Whiskey Co. and the St. Elmo Brewing Co., and learn about the history of St. Elmo, once an independent municipality, as well as Prohibition in Texas. There will be whiskey tastings, local wine, beer, and bites, along with live music and a silent auction.

The event will take place at an event space between St. Elmo Brewery and Still Austin Whiskey Co.
