Leap of Joy is hosting a Dia de los Muertos celebration at The Thinkery with a twist — a Darth-Vader-is-Luke's-father kind of twist.
Celebrate Day of the Dead and Star Wars with food, drinks from Austin Beerworks and Deep Eddy Vodka, a raffle, costume contest and more. All proceeds from Dia De Los Star Wars go to Leap of Joy, a nonprofit here in Austin dedicated to promoting theater and dance programs for kids. Admission is free, you just need to RSVP through Eventbrite.
Costumes are encouraged, especially if you can meld the Day of the Dead and Star Wars themes!
