Texas Performing Arts presents Axis Dance Company

For their Austin debut, Axis will perform a new work, and first international commission, titled Alice in Oakland. Axis Artistic Director Marc Brew will work with UK-based dance theater artist Arthur Pita on this piece that explores the growing rate of homelessness and conditions homeless individuals face in the Bay Area. Axis dancers will serve as a vessel to portray these intimate stories.
