In celebration of the Taniguchi Japanese Garden's 50th anniversary, this year's Starlight Social will pay homage to Japanese culture and the three generations of Taniguchis who have helped shape Austin's vibrant garden community. The event will offer guests a rare opportunity to tour the garden at night while enjoying live music by The Jitterbug Vipers, and food and drinks from Bento Picnic, the sushi bar from Bamboo Bistro, and/or the onigiri (rice ball) station from Asahi Imports. There will also be a sake tasting by Genji Sake, craft beer and wine, an authentic tea ceremony in the Taniguchi Japanese Garden, and interactive activities like Japanese calligraphy writing demos.
