KVUE — As Jurassic World continues to rock the box office, zoo keepers from around the nation have been reenacting Chris Pratt's raptor training scene. And they're taking to social media with the photos.
In Jurassic World, actor Chris Pratt plays Owen Grady, a dinosaur keeper. In the famed scene from the film, he trains a group of vicious velociraptors to obey commands. Real zoo keepers have been recreating the scene with such creatures as walruses and penguins. Now Galapagos tortoises from an Austin-area zoo are getting in on the fun.
"Austin Zookeeper Chris ... shows how to train the world's largest species of tortoise, our Galapagos Tortoises, Gertie, Muffett and Wheezy," reads a caption from Austin Zoo and Animal Sanctuary's social media.
