It seems there's always a festival in Austin, and this weekend has a wealth of them. Whether you want to enjoy beautiful art, get your blood pumping with fast motorcycles or hang out with The Dude in the Hill Country, there's an event just for you.
Old Settler’s Music Festival: Thursday, April 10 – Sunday, April 13
Jeff Bridges & The Abiders are the headliners at this year's Old Settler's Music Fest. And how can you possibly beat having a chance to watch His Dudeness perform? Bridges aside, Old Settler’s features the finest collection of Americana bands in the entire world. Performers such as Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Sarah Jarosz, Dr. Ralph Stanley, Shovels & Rope, Shinyribs and many more guarantee the hills of Central Texas will echo all weekend long with angelic voices and melodic jams.
Seventh Annual Texas Burlesque Festival: Thursday, April 10 – Saturday, April 12
Get your fill of theatrical extravaganza over the course of three days at the annual Texas Burlesque Festival, a celebration of all things camp and cabaret. Each night will include new faces, burlesque legends and a competition on Saturday to see who is the best of the best. Truly an event for everyone to enjoy, both men and women will get the chance to strut their stuff on the Marchesa Hall & Theater stage.
MotoGP at Circuit of the Americas: Friday, April 11 – Sunday, April 13
It may not bring A-list celebrities and foreign dignitaries like Formula 1, but MotoGP provides just as much fun on the track. In addition to the adrenaline-pumping action of motorcycle racing, MotoGP will host a weekend of off-track entertainment, including a concert by Austin’s own Bob Schneider.

SXSWCares Big Benefit: Saturday, April 12 – Sunday, April 20
Many people are still recovering from the Red River tragedy during SXSW, and SXSWCares is doing all it can to raise funds for victims. And there is no better way than by hosting a series of music showcases at Austin’s best venues. In addition to a live auction, the community-wide fundraiser is taking place at venues around town, so make sure to check out the list of participating places before heading out.
