Soon-to-be Superstars

Imagine Dragons graduates to superstardom with 2014 show at Frank Erwin Center

Imagine Dragons reaches superstardom with 2014 Frank Erwin Center show

Well, that was quick. Band-on-the-rise Imagine Dragons has officially moved into the big time by announcing the 21-city Into the Night tour that will have them playing arenas, including Austin's Frank Erwin Center on February 20, 2014.

Not to toot my own horn, but I did call it. Of course, given that their debut album, Night Visions, has already gone platinum, and that each of their first three singles — including the ultra-popular "Radioactive" — have been downloaded millions of times, that was probably one of the easiest musical predictions to make in recent memory.

The North American tour will start in Boise, Idaho, on February 8 and last until March 15. Austin is one of only two Texas cities on the tour; the band will also play in Dallas on February 21.

They'll be joined on all dates by New Zealand alternative rockers The Naked and Famous and by Nico Vega and X Ambassadors on select dates.

Although tickets for other cities go on sale this week, the on-sale date for the Austin show has yet to be determined.
