ZACH Theatre presents The Santaland Diaries
An Austin theatrical tradition returns for another leg of festive cheer and holiday humor. The Santaland Diaries is a 75-minute production narrated by Crumpet, an elf with a sharp wit and a very un-politically correct perspective on Santa’s biggest time of the year. Blanton Museum of Art presents “Liliana Porter” opening day
The Blanton Museum of Art debuts a captivating exhibit by contemporary artist Liliana Porter. Attendees can be among the first in Austin to study and discover Porter’s work such as her animated video Drum Solo and her installation Labor forzada [Forced Labor] (2005). Following the opening day, the exhibit will be on display through March 3, 2019.
Paramount Theatre presents Ira Glass
Ira Glass, creator of This American Life, will take the Paramount Theatre stage for an evening of discussion. Known for his editor roles on hit podcasts Serial and S-Town, Glass has captivated audiences with a unique style of journalism and storytelling flair. Tickets are still available.
