Editor's note: Due to a family issue, the Foo Fighters have rescheduled this taping for Thursday, November 20.

Just four days before the release of their new album, Sonic Highways, Foo Fighters will tape an episode of Austin City Limits, the show announced on Monday. The rockers will take over the Moody Theater on Friday, November 7 for their second appearance on the celebrated PBS program.

The special performance on Austin City Limits also coincides with the release of the Foo's HBO documentary Sonic Highways. The 8-part series chronicles the band as they record an album and examine the musical legacy of eight American cities including Chicago, New Orleans, Nashville and, of course, Austin.

During their time in the Live Music Capital of the World, the Foo Fighters collaborated with Gary Clark, Jr. on a track for the album and returned to ACL's original KLRU studio to perform a cover of Roky Erickson's "Two-Headed Dog."

In addition to a live performance by the band, attendees will get a chance to watch the Austin episode of Sonic Highways before its HBO debut. Tickets for the taping can only be obtained by submitting your name and email through the ACL website. Winners will be notified via email.
