On a pleasant spring day, Maggie Bang and Austen Miller were wed on the beautiful Boot Ranch property in Fredericksburg. A true Austin romance story, Bang and Miller met while living in the same apartment complex in South Austin, and were engaged at the Paramount Theatre in 2013 — the site of their first date.
Some of the highlights included the Monte Vista Strings quartet — who provided music during the ceremony and cocktail reception — playing the groom’s personal arrangement of his and Bang’s favorite songs. The Boot Ranch Clubhouse Library transformed into a groom’s den during the reception with hand-rolled cigars by Bobalu and a whisky selection from the groom. And to close out the night, DJ uLOVEi ended with an uproarious, screaming rendition of “We Are The Champions.”
