A new gem has popped up on the east side, just in time for sprucing up for spring. Austin-based online boutique Aro has expanded its presence with a pop-up storefront in the former Rosewood Collective.
Taking over the space formerly inhabited by Olive (which has moved to 1200 E. 11th St.), Aro focuses on jewelry and lifestyle pieces from a "badass" lineup of designers from around the country and the world. Owner Leslie Hernandez's favorite lines include Gillan Stenhard (look for the fist bracelets), Lumo (think California free-spirit style), and Karen Hsang (New York-based designer who originally hails from Austin).
When it comes to spring trends, be on the lookout for jacket earrings and clusters of mixed stones, says Hernandez. The Aro pop-up shop runs through the end of April at 1223 Rosewood Ave. Take a peek at this little gem in our slideshow.
