The Andy Roddick Foundation, founded by tennis star Andy Roddick, aims to take the time children spend outside the classroom and turn it into growth opportunities by engaging children in enriching experiences after school and during the summer. Through high-quality afterschool activities developed in cooperation with the Austin Independent School District, an acclaimed six-week summer program, investing in innovative summer activities, and other joint initiatives, the Andy Roddick Foundation creates new chances for all kids to grow in literacy, STEM, art, and sports during the months and times of day when statistics show they’re most at risk of falling behind.
A portion of proceeds from merchandise sales at the Andy Roddick Foundation online store directly supports the work of the foundation.
The Opportunity Matters Circle is a giving society that capitalizes on ARF's mission-focused opportunities. Members of the Opportunity Matters Circle pledge unrestricted funds which will be used to support opportunities where other funding is not always readily available. These unrestricted funds are allocated at the discretion of the CEO.
Each member commits a minimum donation to ARF of $1,500 per year for three years, and in return receives a quarterly briefing from the foundation, recognition on the ARF website and other publications, advanced notification of ARF events, and an invitation to an exclusive Opportunity Matters Circle Appreciation event.
