Ballet Austin

The 11th largest classical ballet company in the country, Ballet Austin creates, nurtures, and shares the joy of dance through classically innovative arts and arts education programs. Within this purpose, Ballet Austin maintains a strong commitment to the creation of new work, incubation of emerging talent, and integration into the community. It also runs the Butler Center for Dance & Fitness, which serves over 9,000 people of all ages and skill levels with year-round dance and fitness classes, and is home to one of Austin's top-ranked Pilates centers. The company's outreach initiatives serve 31 Central Texas school districts and 200 other area nonprofits.

Ballet Austin Guild, a nonprofit subsidiary of Ballet Austin, is an all-volunteer organization with a mission to support and promote the interests of Ballet Austin through educational programs, fundraising, and special events.

In 1998, visionary community leaders established the Ballet Austin Foundation (BAF) to create a permanent endowment fund. In 2016, the Ballet Austin Foundation kicked off a permanent fundraising effort called Here for Good to secure endowment and legacy gifts that will set in motion a bold vision for Ballet Austin's future.

Ballet Austin’s Fête has become one of the city's most anticipated fundraiser galas, synonymous with elegance, excitement, and innovation. Each fall, Ballet Austin opens its performance season with the party, where art enthusiasts enjoy a three-course dinner, live auction, VIP access to fete*ish, and a fanciful ambience inspired by an upcoming production. Proceeds from Fête and fete*ish support Ballet Austin's mission of providing exceptional artistic programming and arts education to the Central Texas community.

Season subscribers can choose between several multi-performance ticket packages.
