The Center for Child Protection's mission is to reduce the trauma for children during the investigation and prosecution of crimes against children.

The Center for Child Protection hosts four annual events and one annual raffle. In the spring, supporters can attend Ride.Drive.Give. at Circuit of the Americas or the NFL Alumni Caring for Kids Banquet & Golf Classic. Fall events include PlayBingo Ladies Luncheon and the annual gala, Dancing with the Stars Austin.

Members of the Guardian Angel Society pledge to donate a specified amount every year for a period of three years to the Center for Child Protection. Pledge amounts range from $1,000 per year to $10,000 per year or more, and membership is active for three years from the date on the pledge form. Formed in 1998 by concerned women and mothers, the Friends of Christopher Guild is committed to sustaining and expanding the safety net for abused children in Travis County through support of the Center for Child Protection. Guild members volunteer tirelessly on behalf of Austin’s children and pay yearly dues of $75.
