Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area (BGCAA) is Austin's leading out-of-school time youth development agency, currently engaging with more than 11,300 kids annually and serving 7,500 registered Club members ages 6 to 18 at 33 locations in Travis and Bastrop Counties.

BGCAA's formula for impact centers on quality programming and services in academic success, character and leadership, and healthy living. Club youth participate in high-impact development programs that, when compared to non-Club youth, result in better school attendance, better grades, higher graduation rates, and a better likelihood of attending college.

Volunteers play a vital role in transforming the lives of Club members — just a few hours a week can have a tremendous impact on a child's life. The Clubs offer opportunities for adults to work directly with youth as homework helpers and tutors, activities assistants, and college preparation support. Groups and organizations seeking one-day, project-based volunteer opportunities are also welcome.

It's no ordinary lunch date at the Great Futures Spring Luncheon, an annual event that brings Austin community leaders and philanthropists together with some of the remarkable youth served by BGCAA.

The Austin Duck Derby is a rubber duck derby benefiting the Austin Boys and Girls Club Foundation. In 2017, more than 17,000 ducks "raced" on Lady Bird Lake and the fastest ducks won fantastic prizes for their duck adoptive parents.

The Club Classic at TopGolf is a fun and engaging event held annually to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area. Get your clubs out to support the clubs. Not to be missed, this event invites golf enthusiasts of all levels to enjoy an evening of golf games, music, small bites, and cocktails in the state-of-the-art facilities at TopGolf. The event also features a luxury raffle and silent auction.

National Day for Kids celebrates the life-changing work at Boys & Girls Clubs, and is a reminder that one day can change a child’s future. A national day of celebration that invites adults to join Boys & Girls Club worldwide in making a difference for kids in their community. For more than a decade, adults, and kids alike have participated in Day for Kids events to advocate for youth.

The annual Art of Giving Gala is a unique, fun-filled evening that celebrates and supports the many ways that Boys & Girls Clubs make a difference in the life of every youth they serve. Festivities include a cocktail reception followed by dinner, as well as silent and live auctions. Make a full evening of it and stay on for an after party featuring live entertainment and more fun.

The Angels Among Us Breakfast is a celebration of those whose actions are consistently virtuous and exemplify the mission of Boys & Girls Club. Each year, two exceptional Club members are selected to represent BGCAA, one as Youth of the Year (high school) and one as Junior Youth of the Year (middle school), to serve as exemplary ambassadors for Boys & Girls Club youth and a strong voice for all of Austin's young people.
