Greater Austin Sports Foundation recognizes community leaders who have selflessly volunteered their time and money through sports for Central Texas youth.
You can volunteer, nominate a person or group for special recognition, promote the GASF through social media outlets, or sponsor the Hall of Honor banquet for 2021 and beyond.
Donations of sports equipment to area youth that do not have quality gear is always appreciated, as are private donations going toward a scholarship for a youth to further their education.
Each year, several members of the Austin area are inducted into the Greater Austin Sports Foundation Hall of Honor. While most of these individuals are well known in the community for their generous spirit and good works, so are lesser known. They are the unsung heroes, hence the name "Hall of Honor." These individuals are honored at an annual banquet, with the 2021 banquet being held at the Central Library in downtown Austin.
There are no membership fees or dues associated with the foundation, but there is a monthly Speaker Series luncheon with an attendance fee.
