Through running, kids learn they can achieve more than they ever thought possible and be put on the path to healthier lives.
Title 1 schools apply for grants and Marathon Kids fund their run clubs so that all students can have the opportunity to be involved in an extracurricular activity. 60,000 kids in Central Texas run with Marathon Kids each year, including all elementary students in Austin ISD.
Sponsor a kid in a Title 1 school — just $15 covers the cost for them to be in a run club for the whole school year.
A new signature event is launching in April 2020.
