A merger of Austin Children’s Shelter and SafePlace, The SAFE Alliance exists to "Stop Abuse For Everyone." The organization's mission is to end violence through prevention, advocacy, and comprehensive services for individuals, families, and communities that have been affected by abuse.< div>
SAFE offers a variety of volunteer opportunities, including flexible options for individuals and groups. Those interested in direct service volunteer opportunities should attend an info session to become eligible for a 40-hour volunteer and/or children’s and youth training.
SAFE's annual gala raises funds for the kids and families in the organization's care.
