This innovative program matches trained cancer survivors and caregivers with newly diagnosed patients and their caregivers to provide coping skills that enable those with cancer to regain a sense of control, reduce isolation, and restore hope. Trained volunteers also visit with patients and their caregivers at local oncology infusion centers to offer comfort, support, and information about community resources.

If you are a cancer survivor or caregiver, please consider becoming a trained volunteer. Volunteers are also needed to make fleece blankets to distribute to patients in the infusion rooms. Head here to complete an application form and find out more.

You can also host a third-party event to help fundraise on Re: Cancer's behalf.

20 Colors 20 Bikes, to be held on February 9, 2019, is an indoor cycling fundraiser that invites beginning riders, competitive cyclists, fitness enthusiasts, cancer patients, and survivors to hop on a stationary bike and raise funds to help Austin-area cancer patients and their support network. Spin instructors from the top cycling studios in Austin will be on hand to teach an hour-long class at the Dell Jewish Community Center.
