The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and development tools to help them thrive in work and in life. Dress for Success Austin is committed to providing services and opportunities to help women establish a solid work history and permanently leave the cycle of poverty. Support extends far beyond the "suit" to a promise to each client of ongoing support and information as she enters and remains in the employment arena.
Clothing donations can be taken to any of the Westbank Dry Cleaning locations or to Dress for Success Austin at 701 Tillery Street, suite A-5, where donations are accepted Monday-Thursday, 9 am-4 pm or Saturday from 10 am-2 pm. For a list of accepted clothing, head here.
Volunteer opportunities include administrative support, mentoring, and working one-on-one with clients to help them find the perfect ensemble for their job interview or new career. Head here to learn more and apply.
The Annual Little Black Dress Soiree is the premier fundraising event for the Austin Dress for Success organization. This fun-filled evening includes great food, libations, music, and auction items to bid on.
