Each year, Impact Austin hosts a series of unique signature events designed to bring the community together. Town Hall is the annual fall gathering to share Impact Austin news, hear from an inspiring keynote speaker, and award a new Equity Grant.
Discovery Day is the winter education event, with engaging panels to inform attendees about the most pressing community needs in Central Texas. Annual Meeting is Impact Austin's party of the year, where they celebrate another year of grant-making work and award new high-impact grants.
Members must identify as female and donate $1,250 each year. ​Using a collective giving model, they combine $1,000 of each contribution to fund strategic, high-impact grants that are awarded annually to Central Texas nonprofits. They also apply a $250 per member investment to help defray the costs for signature events, education initiatives, and operations.
