The Austin Jewish Film Festival seeks to promote cultural understanding and tolerance among the Greater Austin community, encourage artistic development, and entertain audiences through the medium of Jewish film. The 2021 festival will be a hybrid format with physical screenings at the Galaxy Highland theater as well as simultaneous online showings. Films to be screened will include The New Jew, Hester Street, Angelica, The Red Orchestra, Xueta Island, 200 Meters, The Musicians, Tiger Within, Dirty Tricks, Two, and Persian Lessons, among others.
