Successful El Pasoans currently living in Austin will be honored at the El Paso Social Network in Austin’s Trailblazers Reception, hosted on Wednesday, May 14. In addition to celebrating exceptional El Paso-Austinites, the annual event raises scholarship money for El Paso high school graduates attending an Austin-area college or university. This year’s trailblazers are Austin ISD’s Dr. Pauline Dow, radio personality Laurie Gallardo, and recording artist JJ Plasencio.

For admission, a $10 donation is encouraged at the door, all of which goes to the El Paso Social Network in Austin scholarship fund benefiting El Paso high school graduates studying at Austin-area colleges. Donations to the scholarship fund may be made online.
