Back for its 24th year, the Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival reminds you that the best way to beat the Texas heat is with even more heat. As many as 15,000 spectators and over 350 entries are expected to gather at Fiesta Gardens once again. Not only is it the perfect event for hot and spicy food lovers, it's a chance to help raise funds for the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas. For admission, guests can either donate three healthy, nonperishable food items or make a suggested $5 donation.
Bands performing live at the festival include Rosie and the Ramblers, Gumbo Se Coir, El Tule and LaTasha Lee and the Blackties.
