A Legacy of Giving is a non-profit dedicated to teaching students the importance of philanthropy as part of the curriculum, and part of that curriculum is the Walk for Water. The 3.7-mile course at Toney Burger Stadium represents the one-way distance children have to walk every day in developing countries just to access drinkable water. Fundraising from this event will benefit a new and clean water system in the Songa region of Burundi.
