2nd St. District will kick off the celebration with a face painter and balloon twisting artist, completely free of charge for visitors. The young and the young at heart are encouraged to get their face painted with unique festival-inspired designs, their favorite animal, or superhero before grabbing dinner, shopping around, and heading to Austin’s Birthday Bash at Republic Square Park.

Throughout the District, 2nd St. tenants will also be celebrating with sidewalk sales. Menswear brands League of Rebels and Bonobos will be showcasing their latest seasonal lines outside their storefronts and UAL will be offering major discounts on new designer-label clothing & accessories in front of their space. Royal Blue Grocery will be doing a demo of Sweet Crude CBD Mocktails handing out free samples of some of their fan-favorite products as well. TRACE at the W Austin will be providing the tunes with a live performance from Austin musician, Nick Swift.

Just a couple blocks away from the District, the Downtown Austin Alliance will be hosting more party festivities at Republic Square Park. Austin’s Birthday Bash is a community celebration featuring live music, creative arts, food and people that play homage to the past, present and future of Austin. There will be crafts, bandanas for the first 400 attendees, live music from GRAMMY nominee Saul Paul and the Passion Flower and more.
