Celebrate the founding of our nation with your fellow Americans on Auditorium Shores for Austin's largest Independence Day celebration. Conductor Peter Bay will lead the medley of patriotic tunes, the 1812 Overture and fireworks over Lady Bird Lake. The music begins at 8:30 p.m. and the fireworks start at 9:30 p.m., allowing for enough time to find a grassy spot for your patriotic picnic.
