The Zilker Kite Festival, one of the most famous annual city events put on by The Exchange Club of Austin and the nation's oldest kite festival, will welcome spring with wide-open fields full of kites and happy campers. The festival encourages anyone to come out and compete against fellow kite flyers or to simply spend a beautiful day in the park with their pets, their friends and their family.
