The Austin Community College presents a posthumous exhibition celebrating 50 years of art by Jimmy Jalapeeno, also known as A. James (Jim) Bonar.
Jalapeeno was a former ACC Professor of Art, a longtime resident and an icon in the Austin arts community. His work has been collected by numerous private collectors and public institutions, including the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (where six of his dramatic paintings of local natural areas are on permanent display). Those paintings seem to emanate their own light as well as capture the soul and beauty of Austin for millions of travelers from all over the world.
The exhibition will run from January 26 until February 26.
